The Iowa Scarecrow Festival debuts Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, alongside the Made in Iowa Fall Market with over 150 vendors. Enjoy creative scarecrow displays, scarecrow-themed products, and a community showcase of unique designs. From 2–3 p.m., select scarecrows will be available for adoption to benefit Together We Achieve. Food donations will be collected at the entrance, and 10% of ticket sales support our work.

Registration will be open November 6th-17th, or until full and is limited to the first 500 households, one registration per household. Please do not sign up for this distribution if you have signed up for a distribution/holiday meal with another organization.
